I have always been curious.
I like meeting people who know things I do not know, entering worlds I have never seen before, and discovering ideas that change the way I think. I enjoy beautiful places and memorable experiences, but I am equally interested in a conversation that stays with me for years.
I have also always hated wasting time.
Not because I believe every minute needs to be productive. Quite the opposite. Life should contain plenty of laughter, wandering, surprise and things we do simply because they are wonderful.
But our time is finite. There is still so much I want to learn, experience, enjoy and understand. That makes me increasingly conscious of what deserves our attention, and who we choose to spend our lives with.
This is where CHORA began.
